could anyone help me i cant find what Tightening torque for bolt #3

those bolts are not in the haynes maybe its in the Bentley one...
guess its not a normal repair they only have the torque for the attaching the diff to the car...

its a diff off a e46 330i auto

Haynes has torque settings per bolt size as well, ie M6 22nm M8 60nm

will use the bolt size setting if i dont find any other info, but i dont want to damage the gasket or make to too lose so would rather find the right torque

where is 'torque settings per bolt size' i searched threw it 3 times yesterday looking for that section :thinking:
are you talking about the torque settings in the begining of the engine section?

the bolt is M10X25-8.8 ZN

yeah in the beginning of every section they have torque settings for bolts

ill just go with the drive shaft torque settings for that bolt type and see what happens...

Finally found the info. M10 8.8 Grade 45 Nm... Seems kinda high though. (my disclaimer right there)

already did the job just made them nice and tight
