Tie Rod Ends E46 M3 Old VS NEW

Some of you may remember me looking for Tie Rod Ends, for this lovely //M3 of mine:



Did a quick DIY on Saturday in between the rugby,a few beers and have a look at New VS Old.



Note how compressed the old Tie Rod ends are:




Happy to report, no more shudder or vibrations, iam doing the alignment tomorrow...:=):

The rubber gets compressed and not the ball joint.....
Well done all the same now wheel alignment time

Did you replace with OEM from the stealerships & at what cost?

Stealership charged R2600 per side...got mine at R1450 from a contact, pm I hook you up

I tried to Pm u back but you pm limit is full :)

I just wanted to know if replacing the tie rods sorted out the shudder completely?
I also have a shudder most above 100 and I have check the tyres,rims etc...

Sorry dude I should start cleaning my inbox...well yes at first it did...but then I started getting a whole new kinda shudder again. This was due to lower control arm bushes which also needs replacing. But it's a nice diy to do and u can get them from Nash too.

I have to order the parts because they don't have stock but as soon as it arrives, I will sort it out.

Sorry dude I should start cleaning my inbox...well yes at first it did...but then I started getting a whole new kinda shudder again. This was due to lower control arm bushes which also needs replacing. But it's a nice diy to do and u can get them from Nash too.
