Is this car still around?

No it was sold as it became too costly to repair.

Christopher (Crash Nemesis ) organised a fund raise and an engine was bought.
I cannot remember the rest

Yeah, the fund raise was successful and we were able to buy Thunder (Bruce) a replacement engine back in 2014. Thanks to all the guys that donated and helped Bruce. The fanatics really came to his aid in more ways than we could imagine.

HerrBMW then helped Bruce collect the engine and as far as I can recall, I believe Bruce installed the engine himself, or at least installed it with the help of some friends.

The car was then revealed at the 2014 BMW Fanatics Dyno day, where it also took part and Bruce won a trophy for best 4 cylinder NA.

Not sure what happened after that as I haven't been very active on the forum.
