Throttle adaptation reset

Hi all Fanatics

I was chatting to a friend the other day about the "sluggish" response on the throttle on my 320i F30. Especially when I am in comfort mode and need immediate power to overtake at lower speeds (under 80km/h).

He mentioned something about some throttle adaptation reset, and gave me some instructions to try. I am not sure how it works, and thinking of trying this out later today.

The procedure he gave me was:
1) press the accelerator full down
2) press the start/stop button (engine on not started)
3) keep the accelerator in for 2 minutes
4) while the accelerator is still pressed, hit the start/stop button to switch the car off
5) release the accelerator and leave the car for 2 minutes
6) start the car as normal and continue driving.

Anyone else ever tried this and have any feedback or input on this?

Thanks

There's a couple videos on YouTube that suggest this works

I tried it a while ago. It does work
I recall due to me using my car to work and back and mostly in traffic, the responsiveness was slow,

Note after resetting you must drive it hard

Thanks TeeBag and BeemerFanatic

I tried this the past weekend, and I surely felt a positive difference in acceleration.
