This Years Weekend trip to the Nurburgring

Guys, Just a few pics of this years trip to the "Ring". Just a weekend this time, flew in to Dusseldorf on the Friday and out again on the Sunday evening.

We booked a trackday (as opposed to the normal "tourist" sessions) for the whole of Saturday in the Mighty Suzuki Swift from rent4ring. Managed a 8:45 BTG,(last years time was 8:52, so Improvement :thumbs: ) which gives you an idea how much the ring is dependant on an awesome handling vehicle and not just raw power.

It was also F1 weekend, It was awesome to be driving past the F1 track and hear the F1 cars. We had tickets to the GP on the Sunday, which was awesome.

Awesome stuff, remimds me of my trip last year, Hokkenheim for the F1 one one weekend then driving one of the rental Scirocco's around the Ring the following weekend. Planning to do a similar trip next year but try do it while there's a MotoGP somewhere in Europe as well, MotoGP, F1 and The Ring in one holiday sounds epic to me :rollsmile:
