Hi guys, I've posted a few times but never really introduced myself.
I'm in Pretoria studying at Tuks. Love cars more than most things in life and really enjoy working on them myself.

Quick car history as in my signature:
Bought a 1970 Fiat 850 Special as a project, big mistake!
Got mommy's Polo Classic when I started driving in 2012. Not really fun enough so I "sold" it back to my dad and convinced him to get a 1990 Mazda MX5 1.6. Excellent drivers car and got me hooked on RWD.
In the meantime I also got a 1984 Jaguar Xjs 5.3L V12 which also might have been a little impulsive mistake.
Sold the Miata as I discovered more problems and bought a Mini GTS as a service and sell. Guy collected the car in his SLS :cartel:
And then the amazing happened!! Got myself a proper car: 1996 BMW E36 328i instant love for the brand :blowheart: Fixed a few things but wanted more and that's when I found "the one" 2000 BMW E46 330i.
Rush sold the E36 to grab the 330 for a steal and haven't looked back since.

I do plan on building the 330 into a track car at some time, so I will create a thread for all the ideas, plans and happenings for her. For this post I hope this suffice
*did try to upload photos, tablet is struggling, will try again soon *

Good story. A 330i makes nice wheels for a student. I had a 6-cylinder E12 520 (no 'i') back in my days. It was a bit slow but man could it do handbrake turns! Oops, don't make me go into details because I will deny ever saying that.

Nice post, nice cars. Jag V12 as a student, wow!
I wish my student life could have been the same, but I was stuck with a 1.3 Ford Escort. Then the e36, then e46 and now e92 and dont even look at other brands.

Must say the 330i is about as perfect as I need in my life now. Just love the cold start bouncing of the wall every morning!
Don't have the confidence to even touch the handbrake yet :fencelook:
(Un)fortunately I haven't really driven the Jag yet, always waiting for someone to fix something, that someone being me most of the time. :bin:
