Decided to post the photos I took of the damage after I got the car back. This is just to show what I have been talking about in the accident comment posts I have done.
This is when the police stopped the car with tracker:

Luckily no damage to the interior, except for the ignition.
Damage: Ignition, driver's door lock, left front indicator, left fender scratched, front bumper scratched, back bumper and beeding bullet hole.

This is why I didn't like the idea of the car being written off, it's in great shape still and very nice to drive. Some cosmetics to be done on the outside with some paint, brakes to be replaced now, 2 new tyres in front,
small stuff inside and the gearbox leak and this old lady is just perfect again, just started a new business venture now which is taking most of the money.

Looks really good man, and it pisses me off that somebody would take your things and do that too it.

Interior looks really neat, and that steering wheel rocks, and I see that pretty much all of your body lines looks really good which is a issue on some of the older cars.

A double thumbs up to you... she is gorgeous.

You do however need to replace that horrid automatic gearbox lever with a manual one :excited:

Criminals had tried to steal my brother's '91 535i so many times in its life, I think it was 5times. They would get in but never be able to start it or get the OEM gearlock off...Plus the fact we have our own circuitry for the alarm system...

They do leave a bloody mess of replacement parts after they do so though, once it was in the parking lot of builders warehouse with parking guards watching.....It's those FU(KERS I tell you!!!!

@zaleonardz, "and that steering wheel rocks" I bought it like that, original or not?:mmm:
"You do however need to replace that horrid automatic gearbox lever with a manual one" got a bad left knee, would love the manual.

@Gizmo, "parking guards watching.....It's those FU(KERS I tell you!!!!" I know it's them, but couldn't prove it, would have loved to hit the 1 that were watching and telling me I drove that blue merc a180 that was parked in my spot, unfortunately a police inspector came to us. I HATE MALL@REDS, hope the centurion guys have good security before going there, needless to say, I DON'T ANYMORE.:cursin:

Received my stickers today in the mailbox, Thanks Hellas.

Here's the photo's:

It may be standard, but its a hell of a lot better then mine, I really dont like the E34 540 steering wheel.

But I dont see an airbag marking on yours, perhaps thats why you got a decent BMW badge in the center,

damage looks minimal! you can be lucky!! some braso and elbo grease will remove most of the scratches!!
And front suspension not damaged?? hope he gets a cell mate with a d :censored: ck the size of a WIM bottle!
Hope some good old fashion jail love will teach him to steel someones pride and joy!!

He was shot but got away, they only saw blood. :dunno:
Just my Wheel alignment and balancing got screwed. :hammerhead:
The new left indicator is in a box in the garage, must first buy the new right indicator also for replacing, very dull against the new 1.:mmm:
That black stuff came off with elbow grease, just stuck with 3 scratches on the left fender still, but this old lady needs some new make up in the face that must be done properly. The bonnet, both fenders, both bumpers and both the mirrors must be completely stripped of all the paint and redone correctly. :cursin:
Bought her like that, never worried about it yet:nono:

hope the fcker will feed some valtures for the next week or so!! I loose all my screws if they steel someones car!! If they ever steal my ///M its gone! our police has no secret weapon for highway parols, just some GTI 5's and Jetta 2.0FSI's so i recon my only chance of getting it back is smached, rolled or hopefully they ran out of fuel!
Dude im glad you got your car back! mabe consider a level 3 - 4 alarm system!

When I bought it in Jan 2009, I had Tracker installed, little fault, I am now stuck with code3, have a look at the accident comments thread for my story on that. This ass luckily never thought of searching for a tracker unit, that's why my interior is still intact. The car was stolen 10 Sep 09. I only posted these photos because of that other thread, to show my damage I had when it came back and how gorgeous the white monster with no market value looks now. Everyone I spoke to over the weekend said if you can avoid buying a stolen recovery, you do just that because it's always trouble, but as I said in the other thread, I'll drive this old lady to pieces, as it only have 182 000km on the odo. I have added 3 extra security devices immediately when I got her back.:) So the next guy's ass, they will need a forklift now, it takes me now up to 10 minutes some time before I can drive:excited:

Well... for that reason I do not have a tracker installed in the 7. My wife's car has one of those skytrax units installed with a panic butten and crash sensor, but the 7 has nothing, why because if they steal it, I just dont want it back. I chose that car with so much love and care, that I would not want a wreck back.

Going to have to do something on the E34 though.
