So much excitement... I cannot wait.
The Whatsapp group is already proving to be the start of a great relationship among the 40 odd participants.
As we did last year, i will create a live update thread and post pics on the move. I wont be driving and prefer not to, so we can share the adventure with everyone.
Once we are at the hotel and start winding down into Chill mode, i cannot promise much updated. I will try...

Update to participants:
Golden Gate has received all payments, our chalets are secured. In total, we have paid for 12 chalets, which is 6 more than last year. 38 people are attending, about 10 more than last year.
Unfortunately, Rockitpras cannot make it as he has an ill family member which he needs to be at home for. We wish you all the best.
Plans have been finalized with the participants of departure meeting points and times. GP and KZN crew plan to meet at the Engen Bergview on Friday and depart as one crew to Golden Gate Hotel.
No obligation, people can group up and do as they wish, or just decided to put their feet up in once place the entire weekend.
Friday evening will begin the wind down, many will braai, some will carry food or buy along the way. We will have a small welcome that evening once everyone arrives.
Some have planned to take a scenic drive through the mountain roads on Saturday, get some breakfast/brunch in Clarens and take some pics along the way.
Saturday evening, braai! Each chalet has a braai area, so we try congregate between a few braai areas as groups and mingle between all... Would be nice if everyone braai'd and ate together, again no obligation. You can braai with your group or family. Its entirely up to you.
Sunday morning, we got to check-out at 10am.

Clarens is 30kms from me. I will be driving through to meet up with Rommies and Andy1GP who are good friends of mine! Also wanna meet up with Duran that I got to know during Dubrun this year. His crazy 700BHP beast are just epic!

Since 13 chalets are booked and paid for, i will release the remaining 7 back to the hotel on Tuesday 15 September. If you are thinking of joining, please let us know before Tuesday so you can get the chalet at the special rate we have. Otherwise, you will have to pay the normal rates, if there are any available.
