Sorry to hear about your pain dude.:sorry: Just yesterday i looked at your post and thoughts were running through my mind how i felt after some ass stole my caps of my roof lining. Got home last night and again somone broke it off.:argh::argh::argh:

I know how you feel and it sucks. I have said it before and will say it again. If ever i saw someone do this to my car or anyone's car i will beat the day lights out of them.

Note that most of the damage is reversed by traditional metalwork. Old school way.

The secret is to use the minimum amount of filler.

More will be had a bit later.

The side skirt of course will be done by the plastics guys.

Well to give you guys an idea of what usually happens with something like this.

Quote would have been

New Door 7500 on which a standard mark of 25% applies so thats R1,875 in pure profit.

Next you would of had painting at about R2400 for the door, so your looking at 11k just to fix up the door.

The Sideskirt would have been another 2k im guessing + another R1800 for paint.

So all and all, this job would have been 15k job...

It pisses me off, because nobody is will ing to do repairs... or even worse... they do it as a repair, and quote new, and repair...

No problems.

I quoted a total price of R4,100.

I misquoted on this one slightly as we are going to end up blending the front door to to the body line that we need to get perfect, but no matter, a quote is a quote.

:argh:

I know the feeling. The first week I had the Motorsport way back when it got ran into twice and keyed.

I notice a while back someone had tried to lift the M-badge on teh trunk. It must be stuck down with some hectic glue!!!
