Nope no cameras...
The worst part is, my insurance policy is only 3 weeks old and there are penalties for claiming within the first 3 months, add that to the excess and I'm looking at spending a fortune.

I need a panelbeater who can get my excess waived or fix it for less than R5k...

sorry bud this really sucks i know the feeling i got to my golf couple of years back to find the front bumper ripped off the car and the fender was knocked aswell... a place where there were alot of people and car guards but as usual no one sees anything....:sorry: its probably someone with no insurance as there car is definately damaged and how would they claim aswell... if its gna cost too much id say wait for 3 months then report a hit and run and claim.. so sad hate dishonest people like that...

Dude, sorry. That Blows. I know. It happened to me too. But luckily for me a guard DID see what happened and amazingly took down the reg # of the car. I tracked the girl down who did it. You would not believe the look on her PARENTS faces when I rocked up at the house with my story...LOL. Was not a BM though...but I was fond of the car in question. Hope everything works out for the best.:=):
