It was resting, at your home perhaps? I don't want to disclose the location on here but I did DM you on your E36 Insta page.

Took a few photos of the old girl yesterday. Dropped off the M3 bumper and skirts, and Class II rear wing at the bodyshop to get colour matched, so thought it would be nice to have some good "before" photos.

Felt it was about time to start addressing small things with the car, so started off with the door handle rubbers.

Ordered new trims, but just ended up swapping the rubbers, as the colour difference was noticeable enough to irritate me.

New ones fitted.

The car had quite a few acorn dents on it from being parked under trees in Stellenbosch, so I got Terrence to come get rid of them. He really does an amazing job, for the Cape Town guys that are looking for a reliable PDR guy.

And then just for fun I thought I'd take it for a stock baseline run on the dyno at HAT Dynamics. Hermann has loads of experience with these cars, and there have been a few to run on his dyno. So I thought it would be nice to compare.

Car is completely stock, with stock exhaust and cats in place, so I was guessing around 127kw...

Safe to say I am pretty happy with the results! Seems pretty healthy to me.

Would give anything to have a clean E36 328i sitting in my garage. Was the first BMW I ever bought 20 years ago and still think about it often. These were properly built cars. You have a stunning example right there, nicely done!

beautiful, clean example with all the right stuff. Keeping the wheels or changing for something more "euro"?

Definitely would like a nice OEM 17" wheel for everyday street use, something like throwing stars or contours. Something aftermarket but more euro would also work. Will keep the current wheels aside and slap some semis on them for track use once all the suspension stuff is complete.

Managed to find myself a set of OEM wheels. Think the Contours make the car look a lot more complete.

Not my ultimate OEM wheel, but will definitely do for now. Definitely looks more period-correct. Also thought they would be rather heavy, but they don't seem to different to the other wheels.

They're not in the best shape, so going to drop them off for refurbishment tomorrow.
