Lovely car! Ive also always had a love for Alfas but never bit the bullet. I was looking at one of these 3 years ago, but bought a really clean OPC H instead which came up at a bargain. Almost sold the OPC for a Brera 3.2 last year, but when I went to drive it, I was very underwhelmed with the drive but so in love with the looks! I figured I would rather enjoy driving my car than enjoy looking at it, so kept the OPC...

To be honest the brera cannot compare with the older FWD cars, let alone the even older RWD alfas.

The 90s FWD alfas really are great to drive, get yourself a v6 916 GTV and even though 0-100km/h is slower than a mk5 gti you feel like you're driving a baby ferrari.

The GT 3.2v6 has a very similar feel really. They're just *right* in a way most other cars aren't.

Totally agree, although it's difficult to explain.

The newer Brera was based on a GM platform, used the M32 "chocolate box" with the unreliable GM V6 and weighed too much. Lost that Alfa magic

Newer Brera? I was under the impression there has only been one model?
