The Gorge

Spending 2 days here, The Gorge near Oribi just when I had thought that the South Coast is completed & I can't find any better I find this gem of a place. Did the 4.5km in total Zipline, 18 zips, highest is 300m above the Gorge 700m high traveling at almost 100kmh. This place is stunning untouched & unspoiled. Gods wonderful earth.

I got lost in that area once when I was on holiday in Margate, wanted to go to that swing bridge and stuff. I enjoyed the getting lost part the most the roads in that valley are absolutely EPIC, high 2nd gear and low 3rd gear corners, tight turns and lovely sweeping corners. Makes me want to drive there just see how the e46 will compare to the e36. I stoped to have smoke break at one stage, only then did notice how pale one of my passengers was. I will never forget the look on her face. :roflol:

This is the one. Across the Gorge. The scenery is just Gorgeous, few places in Sa will come close to this. On the 15th zip u zip across Lake Eland where u can touch the water. Btw Blood Diamonds was filmed here.

The Oribi Gorge (featured on Short left) is amazing, was down there with a couple of friends 3 years ago. One of my buddies had BYPASS SURGERY @ age 27 and HE dared us to jump off the Gorge...! exhilarating experience.

Add it to a bucket list
