great to see you Sire "Silverbird"

and on the Chef's car

a thourough inspection revealed only the rear stabilizer bars that have some wear and play on them, the rest of the suspension is "tight"

So the wear on the inside of the tyre is due to wheel alignment not being set correctly?

my alignement technician tells me that it is probable that the alignment was out before ChefDJ purchased the car, and that the wear damage had already been done, ...then the alignment was probably done on these already worn tyres, in an attempt to try to prevent further damage, ...but my allignment technician tells me that its not feasible to do alignment on already "miss-alignment" damaged tyres, as the uneven wear will just continue even though the new alignment might be set correctly.

That makes sense.

If it is ball joints it will show within the first 100Km as the wear on the inside will show up on close examination
