The best diesel for my E90 320d?

I'll add my voice to the Shell brigade, in the beginning (for me, 2006) V-Power diesel wasn't available everywhere so I used Sasol but now only Shell and probably 99% at Shell Isando Motors as it is my closest.

I have a 2006 320d with 126,000km on and I think only one tank was "regular" diesel as it was an emergency.

Only use low sulphur diesel, here we get 50ppm as the lowest, in Europe and America U get as low as 10 or 20 ppm if I am not mistaken. The higher sulphur means it creates more acidity in your motor which increases the rate of engine and component wear.

According to a few of my fathers freinds who own garages (Sasol, Engen, Shell) there is no difference between the fuels, just a marketing scheme for the most part. lol
