Comparison just drawn that ice white is better than alpine white in his opinion.

An E39 in white has always been a personal favourite. I was close to doing a deal on a manual 530i in white with black seats once, but the dealer couldn't come up with numbers that worked for both of us. The car had a lot AUC fees tacked on top of the price so it was more expensive than other, similar cars. At the same time they couldn't even come close to book value on my car.

Not related to the topic, but I like the number plate. It would work well in ZA.

Another good shade for the E39 was this non-metallic red. I don't know the exact name. There were not many of them. I looked at a red 530d manual in the same round of shopping, but I am not a diesel guy.

Just meant that ice white is more white than alpine white[WINKING FACE] and compared to one another the other is more yellow/beige/cream..
