So with all the work that has been happening on my E36 in the recent past it was necessary to open up the motor once or twice.
Every time this happens the cams need setting as well as the Vanos.
The first time all went well but unfortunately the motor needed to be opened up again, the second time around Peter already told me up front that he wasn't happy with the Vanos seals and mentioned that if the motor wasn't running right it would be addressed at no charge.
Unfortunately it wasn't running right so I took up the offer.
So, complimentary new seals were sent down by Sean and the car was sorted out by Peter in a hurry, no charge as promised. The motor is now purring and the car goes like snot.
It is inspiring to see that there are true Fanatics out there that are not only able to acknowledge slip ups but also truly take pride in getting a job done right, and a car running proper, rather than insisting on making a quick buck. Something which very often goes missing in this day and age.
Keep up the excellent work gentlemen.
