TF Details meets E90 320d

Coolio. Dunno whats happening in that last pic, polish or burn on the fender, dunno why it isnt taped up. You just have to be so careful using a rotary against body lines. Dunno what polish, pads, RPM, pressue you are using, but you dont realise how quickly you can go through paint until have actually done it. Get some scrap panels or a kak car to try.
Please do consider buying a thickness gauge. Otherwise its an accident waiting to happen, and all the funds earned though polishing will just be blown on respraying.

Just my 2c, stuff that I learnt first hand the hard way while learning the motions of polishing. No reason why someone else should have to repeat my mistakes.

Dont forget plastic, Bumpers spoilers etc all very delicate areas. That last pic is very suspect. When a panel has been polished the light will not refract. so when you take a picture of the sun it will only show the sun, nothing else .. your picture shows a few other imperfections left in the clear coat.

I know I couldnt turn this into a business, the time to takes me to get a finish I am happy with X my hourly rate + product cost = not what 99% of people would be happy to pay.

A lot of people make those mistakes, hell my first car was a beetle, i polished that thing like mad every weekend, then washed it with any old rag, a bucket and sunlight liquid. Then dried it with an old towel....

That was when I was 16.

Now, my car care products is a wider variety than my fiance`s make up, and costs more too :fencelook:

It`s all about being educated....educated in the proper way of looking after your car`s paintwork

I can confirm to the quality of Tiaan and Fozel's work as they did my Red Baron the day before the Guinness attempt at Kyalami and both my wife and me were speechless with the results. Unfortunately no pics were taken due to time constraints but I will be taking my car back to them.

Yes, they are fairly new in this business and still has a lot to learn and hone their techniques but they certainly do have skill, and most of all what I don't have, patience and passion :thumbs:
