Hi to all our fellow Fanatics!

TF Details visited forum member Lu this past Saturday. He requested a detail on some of his vehicles. We had scheduled the two E46`s for this past weekend.

The plans were changed on the spot after his Mother-in-Law visiting from Cape Town saw the E46 when we finished, and we detailed her S350 instead :ty:

The E46 had some minor scratches and it was opted by the client not to undertake a full correction, but rather just a full exterior detail.

Paint contaminants after a degreaser wash...

The car was detailed with the following:

* Degrease wash
* Rim clean and degrease
* Clay bar
* Swirl Free Polish
* Sealant and Glaze treatment
* Pure Carnauba Wax

Comparative shots were taken on the bonnet...

Not sure how it happened, but we didn't take full shots of the finished car :cry:

Most important goal was achieved: A happy client at the end of the day!

We would like to thank Luben for everything again! Was a great day, with great company and some pretty awesome cars!

What does the clay do?

Stupid question but just would like to know...

Clay is used for removing surface contaminants on paintwork. It smooths paintwork and exfoliates contaminants. it`s also very effective on overspray and outside of your windows.
