How does the telephone work in the e34 540i ?
When turning the ignition on the top five light on the phone light up and BMW-GSM appears and then Insert card .
Should I just give it to one of the shitty golf drivers to use as a panty dropper ?

If it is anything like the design in the e39, then the simcard module is situated in the boot.

Well I would say even if you can get the phone to work and you can then hear over the sound of the V8, you are doing something wrong

My ex 528 had a module in the boot above the CD Shuttle, there is a credit card slot where the sim goes into.

I want a phone like that... then everyone I know will need to add a new number on their phones. So they'll have: Nick Cell, Nick Car. haha :)

Only downside is that I'll loose that space which where I usually put my wallet. Guess I could always use the space right of the steering wheel. Actually forgot about that.

You know, I always wondered why on earth the original owner of my car had that Nokia kit installed instead of just getting the BMW phone.
