Teen swops the engine in his E39 M5 over a week-end

This guy somehow managed to do a full engine swop over a weekend. Only problem afterwards was an electrical connector which did not make contact properly. Car worked flawlessly after that was fixed. :dropjaw:

who takes a whole day with front discs and pads? I did mine last month and it took all of about an hour. And that was the first time I have every attempted brakes, so it was checking everything out and taking my time with it.

... some of these workshops takes one look at your, notice it's a BMW, and charges you for driving one...

The book says it should take a day they charge you for a day and do the work the last 30mins before you go and get your car !
