My slow trip to Durban to run the motor in.
Did 1000km, then a oil change and went to Durban.
took a nice slow drive to get everything settled nicely.

please excuse the dirty car, but the scenery should make up for it :)

What is the CR with the new Arias pistons?

you know i had the leaflet from the box and wrote it down but i cant find it.
i will look, or simply do a compression test.

Compression: 12.5:1 (Race Gas Only);
11:1 (High Performance, Pump Gas)
8.5:1 (Made with Turbo specs)
10.5:1;
OR Custom (Fill in box)
Bore Size: 86.5 mm (first oversize);
OR 87 mm

so its run in now?

NO :( still havent gone over 4000rpm
almost ready for the second oil change.

have heard that it can take between 11000km-20000km to be run in 100%
but for the first 5000km at least you should NOT be hard on the engine.

im in no rush and have followed the doctors orders to the last dot.

That is so pretty. One does not actually want to hide it inside the engine :rollsmile:

Good work, and the piece of mind is well worth the cost and effort

i agree, they should send you 7 pistons so you can keep one for show :)
