I am looking for a good CAI for my E36 323.

I have spoken to a few guys and TarrTech came up.

I was wondering if anyone here had install pics and some feedback on the products performance..

Have you debaffled your stock airbox..?

My dyno test have shown that a cone(dual) filter does not guarantee performance increase compared to stock airbox

Tip : Wrap stock airbox in aluminium foil
Tip : Fit better exhaust 1st before considering CAI

Debaffled??

I dont expect massive gains from a CAI, however, i took my flatbed K&N filter out for the day about 2 Months ago for cleaning and when i drove the car without the filter it felt great! More responsive and felt like it had more power..not to mention the engine tone:inlove:

So if a CAI gives me that feeling, im happy!

What will the aluminium do?

As for the exhaust, i have a full decatted system installed. Not branches. K&N Filter,Chip and Tune.

Tin foil will refelct heat away from the airbox. Heat sucked into engine = power killer
