Worst day ever at Tarlton, so over that shit track which only suits slicks and awd! Was so slippery even the modded GTR's could only do high 11's and mid 12's! My GTR was fastest for the day between the gtrs at 11.48 and the best the M6 could do was 11.8 (no traction) and the SL 12.4. The M6 speed was among the highest for the day at 203km/h. Overall a real shit day with bad track conditions! I get better times on a ski pad!

Here are some pics:

Well done Vaughan, those were impressive time for the conditions nonetheless. I got 1 run in * the gearbox started to slip when I went into 5th gear. Didn't get any acceleration in 5th. Managed an 11.4, don't know the exit but it would have been low considering I basically free-wheeled across the line with no drive.

We shall arrange a day with better traction.

Nice seeing you again Sherwin! Yea your charged M3 is a BEAST! I recon 11 flat or less! Imagine with proper traction!

If you arrange another day, lets just do it somewhere else where there is normal tar like normal road conditions not that slippery slide crap like tarlton.

Amazing times in spite of the lack of traction. Tarlton is suffering badly with traction over all and they are losing alot of support because of it.

Love the pics bud!

Yea bud, Im over that place! I will never go there again! Its already bad enough that its 1600m above sea level! Most probably the highest place they could possibly get to build the track, then my make it extra worse by giving the drivers a soap surface to try and race on!

I don't think they realise the outright NEGATIVE ramifications that this is causing hey.
And I wonder if they are willing to do something about it. I think if the facilities were upgraded the turn-out by both racers and spectators would be much better.
Then again, it doesn't help that its still so damn far!

Hi Dreamer_M6,

I'm sorry you had a bad day at the track.
I did however arrange for the entire track to be prepped, and didn't have any complaints on the day.

Will give your feedback to Tarlton and advise what they had to say.

Thanks, Dre

Awesome time there, you must have had a good 60foot time to do a 11.4 and freewheel over the finish line

1.85 60ft. I was doing 200 and close to the line, so it wasn't that big a deal.
