Tape Decked locked

Dammit... never started my car for a while and the battery ran down. I used a battery pack and discovered that the radio required a PIN. Checked my manuals and could not find the card so I guessed and managed to lock it :argh:

Does anybody know how to get it out of the "please wait" mode and thereafter how do I get hold of the pin?

call bmw and give them your vin and they will give you the code
