Looks like Arbee has found the one. It's a high mileage 323i auto in the only colour that matters...
He hasn't got it yet so let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Is there a big diff between a 323i and 325i in terms of power bs consumption

325i is m50 with 141kw and 323i is m52 with 125kw. Both have 2.5lt displacement. The 323i produces it's power and torque at a lower rpm which is better for a daily driver.

Welcome to rear wheel drive. If I'm not mistaken the E46's boot has even less usable space due to the space the CD shuttle's enclosure takes up.

I still miss my Jetta II's enormous boot.

Aaahhhh my car just started over heating!!! Water is good. Topped up oil just to be safe. Same prob. The car is in Randburg. Anybody know any good mechanics near Linden?
