Talk to me about E36's...

Looks like Arbee has found the one. It's a high mileage 323i auto in the only colour that matters...
He hasn't got it yet so let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

325i is m50 with 141kw and 323i is m52 with 125kw. Both have 2.5lt displacement. The 323i produces it's power and torque at a lower rpm which is better for a daily driver.

Consumption better on 323i.

Does any1 have an E36 with rear seats that can flip down?

Dumb question I suppose but this makes the e36 really impractical as the boot isn't very big

The official "things to know about the e36" PDF should help you decide

A mate of mine told me that there is just enough space though
Pity we never got the e36 touring in this country, I would so rock one!

Welcome to rear wheel drive. If I'm not mistaken the E46's boot has even less usable space due to the space the CD shuttle's enclosure takes up.

I still miss my Jetta II's enormous boot.

The E36 is not really a family car. More than one child? Forget it. That is why mine had to go but I still miss it.

Aaahhhh my car just started over heating!!! Water is good. Topped up oil just to be safe. Same prob. The car is in Randburg. Anybody know any good mechanics near Linden?

Try AutoWorx On BraamFischer, Next to the BP bud, corner Rustenburg road and Braamfischer.
