All of them out of your bracket but that red one is a real looker , and the last one which is a silver one also look decent.
hope you do find one , the car over all is really nice and does not cost an arm or a leg to maintain or drive. i have mine ( 1995 328i ) since May last year had three long trips allready with it two to Natal and one to Hartswater, no issues between 8 - 10l / 100 km average. If really heavy it will go up to 12l/100km.
So far it needed fuel and oil.

Take Gizmo up on his offer. Two heads are better than one, or should I say his eyes and knowledge.
As for my choice, currently driving a 92 model 325i auto with 189k on the clock. It's my daily driver, used mostly in peak traffic, I must admit, she is sort of heavyish in peak traffic. Open rd is another story, doing 120kmh uses less juice than in heavy traffic. I would love a manual version, but getting one in the same condition as mine is gonna be tough. Deur sy naat getrek al!
Kickdown on a auto is moer awesome man, put ur foor flat down, split second pause en jy is weg!
Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have had no issues with her at all, "touch wood"

I'd go for an automatic 328i or 325i Convertible in white. Classic good looks. Besides accident damage - check for good service history. My first car was a 1993 325i Auto E36 - i did 330,000km in it and all i changed was control arm bushes. (Apart from 2x a year oil services and regular check ups).

Thank you Gizmo for taking the time out your weekend to accompany me today to see the 2 E36 328i's.
Thankfully, Gizmo saw a lot more than i could and advised to stay away from both these cars. The second one we didnt even go further than asking the owner a couple questions. Yet on the phone the only thing wrong was "the drivers seat". The car had no powersteering or aircon. And and and...
