Taking care of a car with high mileage

Hi guys

I see there are some guys that drive their cars well beyond 200 000 km.

My car just hit 137 000 km and I'm paranoid about component failure. I'd like to think I take good care of it, you know; regular services and not driving hard till its warmed up properly.

Is there anything else I should be doing to make sure that if I could drive it to 200 000 km, with minimal issues?

Apart from the water pump, I haven't had any issues.
Are there any components that are likely to fail soon?

P.S the car in question is a 2006 323i (N52 motor).

Parts are going to fail it is is inevitable, just make sure you replace with OEM parts and you will easily drive your past 200k or even 400k. If you take care of the car it will take care of you

My ex e36 323i had just over 300k(not once did it break down) on the clock and I know there are guys with over 400k.

Do 12000KM oil changes, with Quality oil

Make sure he cooling system has the correct concentration of BMW coolant/water - Flush it every 2 years

Flush brake fluid every 2 years

Flush the power steering fluid

Never let it overheat.

Suspension bushes/components will start showing wear.

Inspect the cooling system components too

I would have the diff & gearbox oils flushed as well
