Hi Guys,

Any recommendations for a trustworthy, quality workshop in Pretoria/Centurion to do some suspension work?

Need to replace my front struts and strut mounts. Preferably someone who specializes in BMWs

Thanks!

Based in Randburg JHB worth the trip
And btw doing suspension correctly is not as simple as one may think.
The use of a torque wrench to make sure that bolts and nuts are secured correctly is alien in most shops.

Hi Stephan22411,

Did you come right with your suspension?

I am also in Centurion and need front shocks and control arms. BMW quoted R36k

Hey,

Really wanted to go to Clint at MMS but couldn't find the time as I live quite far away from Randburg and would have had to take the day off work. Ordered all the parts from Imcomex/Goldwagen and went to a reputable shop near me in Pretoria East. Total cost was around R11k.

New front struts, top mounts+bearings, new strut boots and bumpstops plus labour(including alignment).
There was no Bilstein stock, went with Sachs struts(which are the OEM supplier for my model)
