Suspension renewal for "andrewbuch"

on this Heritage day, we decided to open 1/2 day, and did a large job on Andrew's E46, renewing most of the front suspension bushes etc, that he had acquired from moranor@axis

thanks for entrusting us to do the work

I will post tomorrow, also got some photos.

Quick review, great work and cars feeling better. Still not 100%, wiseman wasn't happy, says I must go back for a checkup of the steering rack and mechanism.

Didn't really drive much, just home. Will test some more the next few days

Didnt get a print out as you do at TWT. Was in a rush to leave once they had finished.

So I think an update is needed again

Ralf's team did some good work, while they fitted all the parts I was right there watching carefully & they did a great job, towards the end I was even passing bolts & tools.

Then onto the alignment, had a bit of time to drive the car & it did feel better, this weekend I decided to get the front shocks replaced as the front right was replaced after an accident (so left & right were different & different ages). So I dropped the car off at my local super quick (currently they are running a special on shocks with a lifetime replacement warranty). Collected the car, had some time to drive & although its feeling better over the bumps etc the handling doesn't feel right, looking at the printout of the alignment they did they didnt adjust the camber etc correctly as well.

So Ralf, I will be back to get Wiseman to sort the Alignment out properly, as well as have the Rear Trailing arm Bushes installed and then a checkup on my steering system as Wiseman suggested.

So I just did a short trip on the highway. Cars much more planted, no more wandering left and right and no vibrations when braking
