By higher side you mean front & back...? Or left or right sides...? Knowing this is important.

We need to know these as well:

1. You have an "e36 '94 model"...right?

2. Do you have the stock rims/wheels on the car?

3. What are the tyre sizes currently on the car?

4. You dont have a couple of PC cement bags in the car...? Right?

5. Did you always had this problem...a skew suspension...?

Please answer these quick questions it will help us to guide you?

After all the above, one would need to check shocks & springs...these could be shot...or after-market junk...let us know

I got the same problem with my 328i, the drivers side (front & rear) is slightly lower compared to the passenger side (front and rear) :dunno:

somone needs to loose weight
But seriously - I think you might find the shock or mounts to be the prob. hitting a bump hard can displace them.

I answered this before.

Short answer - battery is on right side, engine leans to right side. All heavy equipment is offset to right side to compensate for a driver in a LHD car. In our country, driver is on the right side, along with all the heavy equipment - means the right side suspension sags quicker.

Thats exactly what a bmw mech told me, he said on the E36 the right side (drivers side) will always be slighly lower compared to the left because of the engine and battery..... for a moment I thought he was talking crap

If you bought an E90 after May 2010 bad luck, all the front left sides are at least 1,5 to 2,5 cm higher than the rest of the car. BMW changed the suspension from Bilstein to Sachs & who knows what else they changed, personally I think they using the same chassis as they do for left hand drive cars for export in order to cut costs. Anyway according to BMW it is within spec. Your only hope is coilovers!

From far it looks normal, only upon close inspection will one pick it up

just take it to springworks and retension them, its always safer to compress the higher side in line with the lower:thumbs:

I only noticed it when I had my car dropped and the gap between the arches and the tires were different.
