look at the ESS charger very similar :)

.... simply because they also make use of Eaton Superchargers

As you've got your SC already it's useless to point you to G-Power

You going to need a mounting bracket as well as all the pulley wheels and extras that allow the charger to work with the M52 Engine. Look at the kit above that Promotec has posted. This will make it an easy install.

Having a supercharger is one thing, the kit is what makes it work. For instance, the difference between a normal intake and lets say a Gen 7 AA supercharger intake is as much as 30wkw in power just because of the design.

Also custom tune will be needed for our fuel and as well as the height above sea level if you are in JHB.

I had to do all of this with my e46 323i when I supercharged her.

She ran great. Simple bolt on with stock injectors and no freeflow or headers, no intercooler or water meth gave me a dyno figure of 156wkw and 350nm of torque on the wheels with 0% ambient correction. With 23% correction the figures are 175+- and 400+-. I was able to stick with e46 M3's and V8 lumina's... Car looked stock on the outside and was fun as hell. Definite sleeper.

What year model is your e46 320i? What engine. The M54TUB20 or the M54B22?

Crash: The Eaton charger is a roots charger, little different to your centrifugal.

It can be done, we would just have to see how to mount the charger.

what eaton did you get? from which jag? more than likely the m90 or hopefully the m112.

if you are planning on runninig it as a stock motor bolt on kinda setup you wont get all that much gain, it will be much better than the std motor for sure.

if you opt to lower the compression slightly, fit management, proper exhaust, injectors, fuel pump etc you can make some serious gains...

something to think about carefully as boost is addictive.

im currently fitting the eaton m62 to my e36 323. expecting in excess of 200wkw, hopefully around the 240wkw the engine simulators have indicated!
which is a huge jump from the stock 125kw power figures.

@ crash - the 30wkw intake is pointless unless the motor can handle it... no good having 30wkw extra with a conrod dangling out the block.

I see your point, but the M52 engines and especially the S54 engines can handle it. The difference in power is not cause more boost is in the engine, its because the airflow is better. It won't bend a conrod. All e46 Supercharger kits that use a modified intake are still running on standard internals.

It's only when you start putting more boost (eg. 0.8 bar and up) that internals are required.

That being said... Check my build of my supercharged 323i with Project Shift here -- http://e46silverwolf.tumblr.com/

Confirm that!
G-Power also have a special intake manifold if one wants to get more power out of the system

its off a Jaguar xkr. not too sure which eaton that is? all i know is that after mountin it im gona need to remap it. didnt know about all the rest. lowerin the compression. is that a hard process to do?
