It seems we're always looking for some or other pieces.

This time I'm looking for the clips on the sun roof cover the stealers want R115 ex vat for these.

Does any one know where I could get them cheaper I need all 4

R115 doesn't sound to bad from the stealers, importing this small piece will not be worth it if this is all you going to get. just my 2c

Eish sorry man , they did the same to me two days back , I needed the armrest nut and I found one on a stripped e46 , I looked inside and stripped the nut out myself , and then one of the owners caught me and said I can't just take the nut off and go . Have to buy the whole armrest thingy :blab::blab::blab: .

Sometimes with these kinds of things it is best to just get from the dealers unfortunately, the policy I adopt here is: If I am at the dealers and the part is less that R1000 (irrespective of size) it is a decent deal.

The ones in the scrapyards will be busted as well. common e46 failure.
BTW - you need 2 x of item no 16s and 2 x of no 17s

What I don't understand with the e46 sunroof is why didn't they just go and copy on of the older designs like the one on the e34, everything on it is better, some times I wonder at BMW :facepalm:

I agree with Sank. At R115 per clip I'd say that isn't bad at all. Pay the extra and have piece of mind.
