Sulfur Smell from the exhaust

At certain times, i get like a sulfur smell out the exhausts of my e46 320i.. could it be the cats ?

Could be. I get the funniest smell from my 320diesel and apparently it's also the cats.

San, hope you get the the problem sorted. Just monitor stuff like the petrol consumption and maybe if you use any oil. To be safer you may want to pop the car on the machine and check for random error codes, but totally not needed right now, I think. :thumbsup:

I often get a eye burning smell from the back of my dog when i feed him the bone from a nice leg of lamb. The cat, well the cat is an angel. sorry, i often say the biggest load of shit (like dog, like owner) when i have nothing constructive to say. good luck with that smell san. How is your mileage on the car?? if its the cats you will feel alot of heat comming from the exhaust on idle alot more than suppose to!
Cats tend to block at 120k km..
Why the E36 branch? Get customs from TNT!!! could work you out cheaper!!!
