Suade seats

Did the e90 ever come out of the factory with suade seats?

nope, but the proper bmw motorsport seats had a fabric similar to suede (forget what it actually was covered in though).

I have never seen an e90 with suede seats.
All the BMWs speccd as such usues alcantara which is synthetic. I don’t think any of them ever had real suede. From what I have heard the Alcantara is a little more wear resistant

Never knew Alcantara was offered on the e9x (Bar the Performance Seats), must be Uber Rare!

Anyone can recommend some products locally to take care of Alcantara?
:fencelook: Went to a furniture place they suggested I get it Steam cleaned and then apply some MasterGuard Fabric Protection,, (The Stuff they use on Lounge Suites).

Well, to do the seat covering will cost me about R1,500 per front seat, and R2,000 for the rear seats, I think.
Plus a 2nd set of seats... EINA!!!

Suede is the nicest to sit on by far. Sonax make a cleaning produce that locally available.

My e46 318i had Alcantara Seats. theyre really nice to sit on, and feel nice but unless maintained, they can become nappy like woolen jerseys.
