Street to Strip

Is anyone running at Killarney this Saturday's Street to Strip? Will be nice to run against another stock 330 or other, instead of the usual Jap turbos! Hope to see a couple of you forum members there - starts 11am.

I have an E46 330i totally stock except for a Rob Green back box

The best I've run at Killarney in the 330 is 15.7

I live in Parklands.... we should find ourselves a private drag strip
I'm very interested to see what 50kw difference makes, I have run a few 325s and there was very little difference between us.

I'm at the top of Table View and know of a couple of good strips - you name the time, I'm on leave and bored at home!

Sunday as far as i know is the msa event.i was planning on goin sunday but i might make a turn saturday as well.hey Don if u guys are out taking notes let me know.i also enjoy taking down notes.that is when my car comes back

The new RGM back box, plus learning how to fully cancel traction control, as well as optimising the throttle response, got the car down from 15.7 to 15.4 on repeated runs. Not bad - now only 0.5 slower than my old Lumina. But not sure which of the above caused the quicker time - maybe a combination of all. Now adding octane booster at every fill - Zeemax confirmed its just the kak local fuel, and some BM's react worse than others. All of AA's recently fitted parts made no difference, but very welcome on motor plan. The exhaust now sounds totally insane - We re-installed the butterfly flap in the right tail pipe, but now sits deeper, and i think this is giving it the Lambo type roar. Hoping to do the next run on semi slicks. Difficult to control the spin with tiptronic. Would welcome any advice. I still need to find out what the disconnection trick is.

You did not perhaps get my first run's time hey?
I know for the second run I did a 14,5 sec but I stuff up that run.
Very interesetd to know what my first run was.

maybe we can meet with the s2s in feb cause i'll be in sa that time and have some fun together.. i got a stock 330i as well and my best time was 15.3 for the night in noevember. i got a silver sportspack so ja it sounds cool.
