Howsit APG10
Unfortunately I'm struggling to load/download your video. However, your car will have the NA straight six engine (N52), therefore no turbo which could cause whistling. A failed ccv (oil separator) can cause whistling on these engines.
You can do a simple test : with the engine idling, open the bonnet and then open the oil filler cap. If you struggle a bit it's an indication of high crank case pressure. Also, if you open the cap and the whistling dissapears, then it's a broken ccv valve.
Have it replaced as soon as possible because the increased pressure can lead to various gaskets failing as well.
You have a late model e90, so I suspect you'll have the black engine cover. On this version of the N52 the ccv is integrated in the valve cover, so you will have to replace the valve cover. With the silver cover you can replace the ccv on it's own as it is not integrated with another part.
