Decided to get rid of the blacked out dip, anyway think this looks a lot more aggressive...
The trooper. Looks badass! The dip was more aggressive IMO, OEM is cleaner. Though, for some reason, without the dip, she looks as though she needs more low.

I guess the black dip sort of morphed the wheel to the tyre and the tyre to the arch, eliminating the visual gap.

I'm now contemplating 20s... don't know though if it will affect the ride.. don't want scraping

I wouldn't go with 20's, unless you buy a set of lightweight forged wheels, which costs an arm and a light saber... besides, the OEM wheels really do lend a lot of aggression to the Trooper. Maybe look at a set of lowered springs

If I can make a suggestion,

As you say the side of your car looks like it is missing something, instead of looking for it to be lower or bigger rims, maybe look at some more tweaking with your current setup.

I love the look with the lines in it, looks awesome :blowheart:

1. Try and put something on the side of the car to break up the white with the silver rims, if I dear to say, maybe put in writing "STORM TROOPER" between the rear wheel and the door.
2. Black out parts of the rim, to make the spokes look like it is floating instead of it being one piece, those are lovely rims but with the back blacked out it should make the front look more aggressive.

Anyway, love the project and GL with it.

Thanks for the input guys.
With regards to lowering her... I'd love to but with the way the dealerships are behaving recently I think even putting a sticker on her will void your warranty! [SEE-NO-EVIL MONKEY]

I love the blacking out of part of the rim.. will look into that and see what I come up with.

I currently have 2 stormtrooper pilot decals that I'm looking to place... but can't decide yet..

Also toying around with a wide body option. .

Too many options not enough time

How big is the decals?

If they are say over 300mm or even close to that, look at somewhere on the door perhaps and if they are small like 150mm then put them look at the bumper section just behind the rear wheels, the front mudguard just behind the front wheel or between door and rear wheel. Best would be to take a photo of all the areas with the decal and then decide with some help which one looks the best. Perhaps take prestic and stick it onto the car at all the places, snap foto's and then upload that and see what people have to say regarding it.

Wide body kit is always the way to go, can never go wrong in that, ever! You will have to take in consideration that it will not only be the wide body kit as you will need to space your wheels so they match the fender flare and not look like it is hiding somewhere inside the wheel arch.

Yeah I'm between a rock and a hard place... I have to put the car project on hold for now. Bought a new house so have found a new way to burn money for the time being.

All options for the wide body have been considered... I hear what you're saying about spacers, and the completed look of the car.

The idea for the decals I will definitely use! They're not massive decals... initially I was thinking just under the side mirrors...

If I can ask, how did you do those lines on the car from the headlights to the rear? I mean it looks perfect in placement and seems to flow properly, what did you use to do that?

Wide body kit is like a bucket list for most of us but your car already looks awesome so it can stay a little like that, would love to see how the wheels turns out with the black out in certain areas. What does the storm trooper decals look like

Lizzard, had wicked dip do it for me, had to stencil it out, eventually got it right the 3rd time. However, in hindsight I would have rather done them with vinyl. These guys were sloppy and there was a tonne of overspray all over the car.

Prashanth, this car has got to be one of the most unique creations that I've seen come together pretty well. I love the look of it, some may say it's a bit too much but god damn it's pretty. She has that naughty smile though.
