Stolen Badges

So, I have bought a set of badges for the fourth time this year... from the agents at about R1200.

Anyone know where I can buy them for cheaper in Cape Town? Or alternatively do you recommend I glue it on? Concern with glue is that an attempt to steal it again may lead to the badge breaking and then I will have difficulty putting another one on

where is this happening all time?
After the 2nd time i would be sitting nearby with a baseball bat.
or is it in different locations each time?

First try the forum sponsors. They have some badges available. If not them then there is a guy on gumtree who sells badges from Durban.

I don't recommend you glue it on because when they come try pry it off with a screw driver your bonnet is going to get badly damaged.

:biglol::biglol::biglol::biglol: I think I will do just that... hopefully this doesn't motivate him to do further damage to the car.

Dude, I would go to a scrap yard and get a decent condition one, then put it on, take a few very reliable trustworthy buddies, go to rondebosch, to your wifes offices and set up a few of the buddies around exits. Look out for premises CCTV, other employees, traffic cameras and car guards.

I would stake out till the chap who is doing this comes along, wait for him to take it, filming it with my cellphone camera, then catch him, load in boot and drive off.

Go to undisclosed location, pull out finger nails one at a time, then smash toe nails with a hammer, then whack kneecaps with baseball bat.

Then break elbows.
By now the chap will have fainted or pissed himself. If fainted, he will regain consciousness by the time the adrenalin has worn off, and the pain receptors start firing again.

You break fingers, gouge eyes, cut tongue off and pour boiling oil in ears. Drop the guy off at ER asap as blood loss from the tongue can be deadly.

Burn your clothes, the hammers, the pliers etc. What ever remains after burning should be mixed with some pool acid, then reburnt. What remains, the ashes can then be spread around an open veld area, not your yard.

The guy cant say to police what happened, no tongue.
HE cant legibly write who did it, broken fingers etc and the inability to see will make it impossible to write, and even so, if he were able to write this out, what proof would he have that it infact was you (provided you are an attention to detail kind of guy)?

The deafness comes in, where they speak to him to tell him your name or car colour, or numberplate and he shakes his head to say yes or no etc.

You dont want any blood spatter in your car, clothes, hair etc.

You would to scrub under his finger nails etc before pulling them out :)

Nice thick plastic inside the boot should cover you.
Zip ties to restrain work well, if you use more than one and dont buy the cheap chine ones.

Legs are zip tied individually, then together, hands are zip tied individually, then together behind back, then zip tie legs to hands, then zip tie neck, then connect them all behind back with zip ties.

If he starts Pulling his legs down, it will pull arms down (and cause strain at shoulder joints, too much leverage will dislocate shoulder and since the neck is zip tied as well,it will pull neck, too much force will strangle the guy.

The only trouble you are going to have, is that this isn't necessarily a one man job, and the guys who will crack under interrogation will be the guys you take with you.
So know them well, or don't use them.

Don't get guys off the street, they will sell you out and turn state witness.

I will not say what I do for a living, but with these kind of things, you go all in, or not at all.

alternatively, maybe just ask the guy when you catch him, why he does it?

This is the problem in SA.
Nobody is okay, except the fat politicians.

You work hard, you dedicate your life to being decent upstanding citizen, looking after your family, not stealing, lying, cheating.

Then one day four okes pull up behind you, to take your car in your driveway, you surrender, but your wife hesitates getting out, so they shoot her, she dies on the scene. they take your car, pistol whip you.

Your wifes dead.
Police by some miracle capture two of the guys, you go to court, the judge is stupid, they get put away for 10 years, out in 5 on good behaviour.

Is that justice?
Your wifes dead, your kid never knows his mom.

This is not a story i have cooked up, this happens DAILY in SA!!!

Am I okay, No!
I am ******* tired of this shit.

Why dont i stop complaining and emigrate?
Cause my mom lives here and she will not move anywhere.
and This is my country, the land of my birth.

why should all the good people leave, and let the pigs who cheat, and steal have everything we have worked so hard for!!!

7 piece badge. 4 wheels. 1 bonnet. 1 boot and I assume the 7th is steering wheel? But that will probably be a sticker? Or maybe the 7th is for the spare wheel

Don't be bust for days.
Think seriously about what you will do, when you wake up at night and find a guy with his hands on your wifes throat, and another going through your safe?

You pull out your gun, and then what?
In SA, unless you life or that of your wife is in danger (and in court, if it ever even gets there, the guy will say he wasn't choking your vrou, he was just having a look at her gold 18ct necklace), you cannot fire, so you pull your gun, then show it to the guy, then ask him to leave and close the door on the way out?

When murderers, rapists and killers get death sentences here in SA, things will start to change in SA, until then, go to the shooting range, practice shooting, make sure your electric fence is up to scratch and your alarm. works.
Change your route when on your way home.
Make sure your car is in fact locked at the shopping mall.

Dont let your kids out of your sight, lest they be abducted, raped, murdered, mutilated.

Basically, assume anyone else is out to get you all the time.

Is that life?

This should be addressed to the entire police force and "Government" because THIS is now the voice of reason. Congratulations!

My one badge from the dealers cost me R600 for the bonnet. Before this one I paid R300 for one that "is top quality and will last" and it went yellow within three months.

Pay the price. Get from the dealers and secure it. These guys come with fish gut/wire to remove it. If they can't get it off that way, they won't try with screwdrivers cos they'll break it and then they can't sell it again. They not gonna battle for an hour trying to get it off when they know it should come off with ease and within a few seconds. Someone may be watching them so they want to do it quick, not so?

Mine is secure with silicone.
