Not to sure about the decat thing , but i do know DP will work well from what i was told , didnt want to try cause of warranty etc.

Yeah 330d manual should be much easier to launch with all that TORQUE from low down , in the steptronic its freaking difficult getting it off the line , let alone going against the clock. Manual should be easier to control i think.

Even at the track , it was just wheelspinning and taking off even though i was barely footing it and thing is if you slow on the box it basically says stuff you and does its own thing.

You can also double shift... (you shift the paddles/gear lever) and the ecu switches at the same time.... LOL, i can hear the excuses now, you gonna sound like an XRsi driver!!

Dp n decatt should make a difference but I did read somewhere that on diesels they do shorten the lifespan on the turbo.I don't no how true that is though.

Nope dude the Diesel Steptronic box does not work the same , Sherwin tried as well ....

MOS1TED can you tell me what you have done to your 330d to get those insane figures? Im considering getting the 330d hopefuuly E90 shape, currently own a Focus tdci and just love the torque you get from modern diesels so you running a 13.9 just make me want to have a slice of that :=):

not true, removing the first cat will without a doubt lengthen the life of your turbo, due to a decreased heat load on the turbine side..
