Still turbo on my 320d

So i have been shopping and phoning around to get price on turbo. Seems like part of probleme was crank case breeder.

Took the car to workshop where Turbo exchange refers me to.

Got a quote from the guy R1400 more then previous mechanic to remove turbo. No probleme i am willing to pay. BUT BUT the guy say to remove turbo they have to remove injectors turbo must go out the top.

Know some guy on form hade the same problem and hade injector problems after words.

What do you guys think

As far as I know that turbo needs to come out the bottom... Atleast it does with the 3.0d's

Yes thats true.

Just spoke to the guy he will give me print out of injectors if anything go's wrong. He will fix it so lets hope for the best

Take your car and run away from that guy. He WILL stuff up something with the injectors. Turbo goes out the bottom.

Replace the crank breather with the new vortex type if it does not have one already.
Remove cats.
Remove swirl flaps.

Cats is removed.
Swirl flaps remove.
Change to vortex in the week now only turbo to be fix.

Still... I agree with Hellas. Take it somewhere that knows what they're doing... In other words, turbo comes out the bottom.

fyi, even bmw repair instructions say to take it out the bottom..
