End of day 3.
Not many hours put in today.
Could go faster, but trying to remove everything nicely, and make sense of wiring.

Left front and rear chassis damage ( as i suspected)
Total of 15 hours put into car so far.

Nice to meet you on wednesday. Enjoy the build. Looking forward to seeing you on track.

Thanks Bruce . Good meeting you too.

Think I'll refer to you as the gentle giant.
you've got one lekker sorted 328!

Suffered a major set back today with damaging my 330 wheels on Thursday .

had to fork out cash for new tyres and using m3 mags until I get them 330 refurbished .

Damn it.

Can't wait to get on the track .

end of day 4 . 18 hours in.

All i can say is ....how, how, how.
How do you run a panel raping business and repair an M3 like this with "blou draad" and cable ties ?

i keep telling her " Don't worry Firefly, we gonna turn you into "SUPABITCH! "

JUst a word of advice to guys out there buying M3's to drive on road...
Be careful what you buy. Make sure its ultra clean.

End of Day 6.

All i did tonight was clean the inside of the chassis. I just had to get rif of that dirty , dusty smell.
Spent a good 3 hours picking up bits, vacuuming, spraying a bottle of clean green through it , high pressure washer, and drying with rags.

I thought i wasted time, but looking at before and after photos i notice the difference. And just smells and feels so much better.

Out of interest why are you pulling the motor? (give it a refresh?)

1. i want to make sure everything is perfect ,
2. also leaning on possibility of re-enforcing the internals now already for potential power upgrades in the future....

or as Ramone says below...
