I have an E46 318 sportpack.....enjoying the car thus far.
She had her first major service and now ready to be booked for oil service, after 10k and lower control arm bushes seem worn.

Hi Guys, relating to the oil service that will be done on my Car tomorrow; which oil is most suitable. In my other cars ive always used Shell. The person servicing also recommended Shell.

Any other opinions?

Welcome to the best forum by far congrats on the car need those pics ! with regards to oil shell is good a fully synthetic oil not sure on partly synthetic but from what I have heard shell helix HX7 10w - 40 should do the trick.
