squeaking sound

i get a noisey squeaking sound on my 318i E46, it sounds like its coming from the belt or alternator side, each person has their own suggestion and not sure who to go to for a repair without paying way too much

Same problem with 320i. Only when car is cold though.
Will have belt and everything else checked out next week when car goes to mecchie for service.
Hope it's just the belt (cost less $$$$ @ Masterparts)
