[split] E46 EML light on - NO POWER-

Hey guys, Im new to the site but I had a two questions; 1) I just purchased a 2003 325i, runs great just a couple of little problems, first I was having problems with the hazard/lock switch I removed the switch mec and repaired the problem by using electrical tape to bind the bottom back on the hazard lights work now and the lock/unlock work when the doors are closed but if I have a door open it will not work. Is this a saftey feature? And second my windshield wipers work when in use them to clean the windshield but the fluid will not come out, just ordered a new pump and checked all the fuses if this doesnot work what is my next option?

you normally have to glue the switch together i dont think tape will last long

my windshield washer was also was not working all i did was take out the tank and give it a good clean... been perfect for over a year now :rollsmile:
