As the customer all I can say is that I am 100 percent happy with all work and associated costs. I'm in awe of Peters work and trust him to do what's best.

Folks

For the sake of transparency I'd like to chip in here and state that the mods have been asked kindly not to partake in this thread, so that we have no bashing from members of staff taking sides of advertisers or vice versa. Please note, and I cannot reiterate this enough: the forum is a business and needs to protect itself first and foremost, above all else. If threads like this keep getting out of hand the forum will eventually become a place that no one wants to be a part of any longer. That being said, let me put out a disclaimer here that any action in here by any member of staff is for the benefit of the forum as an entity and not for the protection/siding/agreement/disagreement/censoring of any user/member/advertiser/staff member.

There have been calls for action by the mods from a few sources, and at this point I do not feel that any rules of the forum have been broken to warrant any staff interference. However, the lack of respect shown in this thread puts the forum at risk of losing valuable members and so I kindly ask that this charade be dealt with either privately and off the forum, OR it be dealt with in a thread relevant to the direction in which this one is going, because this thread is currently running off course and there are many members, locally and internationally, who enjoy build threads such as these and would like to see the relevant outcome. If this thread keeps going the way it is, there will most likely be no outcome posted here because from experience, I know that it will eventually lead to name calling, mud slinging, bandwagon riding and then the thread gets shut down.

The issue with other cars is not relevant here. All the underlying issues surfacing (or not) here have nothing to do with this build and should thus be discussed elsewhere. Discuss respectfully and relevantly and no action need be taken. Please guys.

Let me also state that no owner of Axis is any admin or even a staff member on this forum. For a comprehensive list of the staff and who they are, feel free to contact me.

I would just like to explain why we have asked for no intervention from admins given the fact that even baseless incorrect information can be very damaging to business

It is because Both Peter and I believe strongly in freedom of speech and honesty that we allow this

I am of the opinion that the truth will always come out in the end so it is always better to resolve issues rather than try hide them

Splintheter....
You must be very excited :coolShake:

Since you flying to collect the car i assume you live in another province?

Will you have enough time to test the vehicle and do the quality checks with the builder? I assume the tuning has been done? Or will that be enother stage of your build?

Cool to see another E46 M3 getting the full end-to-end treatment. I'm excited on Anthony's behalf. My E46 M3 had similar work done by Peter, and now 10 000km in, it is still running great!

Moving along....

Sump and block were prepared.
I use 4 small dabs of gasket maker on the block only to seal the sump gasket.
If you use more it will separate the rubber from the gasket and it will leak.
