A possible working theme could be "Bimmer fest 2010" with the emphasis on 2010 & worldcup crazyness etc...we will have the world in our country in june and we need to capitalise...on their presence...

I'd much rather plan the bimmerfest for END of next year and don't want to in any way tie it into 2010.... trust me on this one.. when the World Crap is over it's going to leave a very bad taste in everyone's mouth.. it may be the toast of the town right now but from a marketing point of view it will most DEFINITELY not be something you will want to be tied into by the end of next year.

Nope, I recon we should capitalise on the contacts we have, the website, the various BMW forums and the car clubs and BMW franchises and dealerships.. there are PLENTY of marketing avenues available to us without relying on Siesa... er.. sorry.. Fifa..

Also from a timing point of view I recon we should give it till end 2010 to allow enough time for garnering sponsorship and funding.

As to where would the rights reside... let's chat off-forum .. suggest you and Don and I get together next week some time for a chat (or Thursday evening again is good for me)

Okay. Lets have an initial brainstorm session preferably Monday (21st) next week (Matt, Freerider & Twinz). Canal walk, Mugg & Bean at 11am...?? (for an hour). I will pay for tea & scones....

This coming thursday is no good for me...sorry. But if it is Freerider's venue in Tygervalley...i might pitch but then it is not to socialise with you bunch....heeeeee...that place is distracting....get my drift...:thumbsup:
