Let me share what happened in my cockpit and maybe Matt will let out his secrets so i can be better prepared next time....:thinker:....the 335 guys will understand this....
1. I am at the garage after we took some pics. Tigger and i just had a bit of fun on the road testing the bilstein ride control - if it really feels like running on rails. So we had good fun & returned.
2. So i am at the garage again and i told freerider to tell Matt i am waiting for him for a run...now i thought Matt will join me in my car so that i can show off the steering wheel.
3. The next moment everyone (5 guys) jumped into Matt's car - leaving me alone in twinz...and zoomed pass me...now at that moment i am still setting the steering wheel stop watch for a 0 - 100 run so Matt could see...nooooo Matt and crowd is way pass me like a bat from hell.
4. As Jezzy passes me i saw how the boost kicks in (3 rd gear) was what i could figure...and off jezzy is....i am on my daily map 7 and quickly realised map 7 is not going to cut it and...changed to the first race map 8...this map delivers 13.5 psi and almost 540Tq under 2000rpms...so eventually...Jezzy got slowed down by traffic and i managed to catch up....i showed Matt to give it another run and before i could close my window Jezzy is off...Twinz was holding on for dear life...(Matt this was the run where you asked me if i was running full throttle...yes i was) Twinz felt stronger but Jezzy was gone and jumping a red light and so Twinz followed suit....heeeeeeee
5. It was at this point that i realised that map 8 was not going to work either...so on to map 9 which delivers 15.5psi and about 330+kw and 600Nm for Twinz) this was when jezzy's brakes was beginning to smoke...but Jezzy made a turn (going back to the garage) that i will remember for a looooong time...i followed and as i made the turn as well i just had to say mfcker....what the hell am i doing tonight with the boys....Map 9 was beginning to allow me to stay a bit closer to jezzy....
6. At the last robot i was so relieved when Matt said he was not going to run anymore as the smoke came from both his wheels...thank goodness i don't have to hammer Twinz again... DT///M was still battling to make a decent movie.....heeeeeeee....Twinz made a final sprint off the mark and into the garage (pit) but shit the car was cooking i had to open the hood & doors...thinking where is Mos1ted's ICE.....with ice...with ice....eish
7. So i got a lesson in brutal driving and admit that i was taken by complete surprise by Matt's generosity and friendliness....and i am still pissed that everyone jumped in with Jezzy and let me drive & cope by myself...not good guys...not good
8. To summarise...i cannot see Twinz competing with Jezzy unless i run Twinz on map 11...and just maybe i will be able to at least hold Jezzy off for awhile....imp:
Now check out my so called friends....haaaaaa:
A. I called Zaid at Zeemax the day before the speedway meet to get some performance info on jezzy...now Zaid is the tuner for Jezzy and Twinz....Zaid's response...?....it is client - tuner priviledge...he cannot share that info with me AND he does not want Jezzy and Twins to race it is not good for his business...we should be racing his competitors...Okay uncle Zaid...we will behave next time.....:wave:
B. I asked Revo ( my socalled friend).......gimme some tips buddy....just a hint....Revo said don't do anything to your car...just go and run and oh yes...only do sprints off the line don't get into a long runs with Jezzy....and if you lose we just delete Matt's posts & videos off the forum....heeeeeeee...some friend? inspiring confidence...?:mmm::shocked:
C. Now Freerider...his response: "I did not want to warn you....i wanted you to see for yourself..."

Thx to the twinz and jezzy for great entertainment last night...
Jezzy is very brutal, and I love it, but the twinz are awesome as well, to be really honest, the twinz sound better to me, no offence matt...:thumbsup:

Agreed.. Twinz sounds more agro and all round more hectic... Jezzy tends to kill quietly.. hee hee
and yes Charles.. I am VERY serious about the bimmerfest.. to the point that before the end of the holidays I want our business plan in place so I can start working on a sponsorship proposal and start booking dates, acts, stalls, etc...
I'm thinking next Summer and I'm thinking 2 days and 1 night in between.. I'm thinking we blow peoples minds and turn it into a yearly event that people from the whole of Southern Africa will travel to experience
btw.. Jezzy is run in and ready for her new map... as you know there is gas on the way... and uncle Z and I have already been chatting to a dude who has developed a larger crank pulley for us so we can overboost her and add a 2nd inline fuel pump as the current fuel system is almost maxed out...
She WAS brutal... but what you saw last night is NOTHING compared to what we have planned for next year... we have already researched and planned AT LEAST another 100kw of improvements.. the aim is not to compete with whatever is out there.. the plan is total annihilation...
As you all probably know by now.. I don't shoot my mouth off unless I actually have plans to back up my words.. so let's just say.. watch out Lumina's... watch out Lambo's... watch out SAV and all the others...

Okay, i love the commitment for the bimmerfest...Freerider could i ask you and Matt to discuss the first and most important matter before we proceed...where the rights to the bimmerfest will be located/held...once you and Matt come to an agreement then we put a working team together including some members of the forum from the main provinces. I will also have good time available over the holidays to assist with the planning especially from a sponsorship side.
Revo and uncle zaid are also planning something special for Twinz for early january...i think we need to keep Twinz and Jezzy's new developments under wraps so that when the bimmer fest kicks off we & Zeemax can show its new projects...what do you think?
A possible working theme could be "Bimmer fest 2010" with the emphasis on 2010 & worldcup crazyness etc...we will have the world in our country in june and we need to capitalise...on their presence...
