It seems you like to debate things until the staples fall out the pages. So lets debate:

1. You raised a concern about the poor quality of the bounding of the production material of the magazine.

What else about SnS is a concern to you:

2.
3.
4.

Look forward to your views.

I know I complained about the binding
I feel SnS is a premium magazine and deserves a place on a collectors book rack and not just to be read and then thrown away , that is why I am concerned about the binding or way it is done .
I buy it every month irrespective of the content being pro BMW .
Like a M3 being an icon and every City Golf driver claiming to drop it in a TLGP I see the the SnS mag in the same light .

It as simple this:thumbs:

There's no need to get all worked up. I think its the members early, who said you have to pay to be featured, that have distorted the whole issue. Those are unfounded statements

The world is watching so they should get facts and details, eg. when you pull the 'poster' out the mag you will have staple holes in them. That's a fact whether you like the mag or not. Or we could just summarize stuff on the forum eg if an international viewer wants to know abt the 325iS or 333i we could just say, 'some like it, some don't, don't worry about facts and the details'
There's no personal feeling here, there's only facts.

I don't know if you're trying to stir, to prove something, or just trying to be clever. Either way you fail as you're making little sens and you clearly don't get it, but you're still new here. There's very little facts here, but there is a lot of opinions mixed with some bashing of SnS.

Posting details and facts about the 325IS or 333i with something to back it up is completely different than posting details and "facts" about SnS with nothing to back it up. Bashing SnS simply because you don't like it or the content without real merit isn't fair. :shakehead:

SnS can do what ever the hell they like with the mag and all we can do is post our opinion on whether or not we like it. If SnS just features Golfs, then that is a decision they make and not some conspiracy.

If you don't like it, don't buy it.

This where we move on guys. Thanks.
Please show me where i'v bashed sns. I think YOU not getting it, coz you guys are taking the criticism of the mag personally. I like the mag, but if there's certain things i don't like should i stop buying it or voice my opinion. Why is there so much moderation on this specific thread. Others have really dragged names through the dirt
eg. Matt Q about Savspeed here http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=3305
Where was the strong moderation seen here for SNS

When I said there was SnS bashing, I was talking in general... talking about the entire thread. How did all this become just about you???

The mag is not for me. Read a few at friends, but never bought an issue myself. Nothing being taken personally here.

Let me try and say this again in a different way: There is nothing wrong with posting you opinion, as long as that's all it is and not just plain bashing without merit because you merely dislike something. Post your opinion as much you like, just don't try and slander a company's or person's name if you don't have a real reason and proof to back it up. Again... taking the entire thread into consideration here.

There has been NO moderation in this thread, just plain discussion. Let me explain what it means when a thread get's moderated as you clearly don't know. When a thread gets moderated, then posts get edited/removed or the entire thread gets closed. You want to tell me just because a Mod or Admin is involved in the discussion the thread is automatically being Moderated?? All we've done so far is ask for members to be mindful of what they post.

We allow users to post almost anything here, but we're asking that members be mindful of what they post. Most of the forum can be viewed by the public. That means that you don't need to register to see what was posted and by whom.

I don't know how to explain all of this any... err... simpler. Rather PM me if you really want to discuss this further so the rest of the members can move on.

Talking in general here...

The reason for me trying to explain that you have think before you post is because we've seen how fast news about a company can spread through the internet. A company in the USA had to close it doors because a very popular forum aired the company's dirty laundry for the world to see (I'm leaving out names here on purpose). They had real reasons for doing so, but it shows how powerful the internet has become. I'm sure there's quite a few such cases out there.

We allow members to post just about anything on the forum as long as it's in the right section:thumb: We actually moderate posts very little and when we do it's usually just spam.

We want you to post your opinions. We want you to make fun and have fun. But we also don't want you to take it to far.

Nic_s - Love that sig pic and the saying above!

Thanks. I love E30's. I still enjoy driving my 318i (mostly to save fuel in the 540)... even though it's been hit by a guy on a bike, needs new wheel bearings, new suspension bushings, the rubber spoiler is starting to split in 2, seats are completely worn, and the brakes needs work it's still fun to drive.

I don't really get the point of this thread. If you don't like SnS then don't buy or read the magazine, no one is forcing you too. The fact is they featured two of our events so far this year and that is awesome. No arguing.
