This car is for sale for a while now... no guesses needed to know why. I simply can't think what the owner was thinking. :slap:

Hahaha

This car is a once off.... Every year Reynolds BMW Repairs (They own Reynolds Auto Care too) have their clients try and come up with the most unique ride.

This is last years winner. I laughed because I actually took a look at the car last week when I was visiting Reynolds :)
The colour is a metallic yellow in the sun and the build quality is pretty good.

You're all just jealous...
If you had to Pimp a Ride or Overhaul('in) a car, what would you have done? I (we all) would have looked at this with a much less critic eye if it was for instance a fjord or a slopel... But then again custom mods like this seems to be the norm in those car makes... :mmm:

I personally don't like any car that is pimped out like that. It just looks wrong in the same why a E30 looks wrong with 14" mags and very low profile tires.

Is the prize worth it?

Nobody is going to buy that at R55k!!!. It's too "custom" and meant for a specific "taste"

That will throw the calibration on the speedometer out completely, and of course it will look like crap.[/align]

I've seen a few E30's like that. In the same why the small wheels with "small" tires looks wrong, heavy pimped out cars also just look wrong.

I got cut off on the freeway today by one of "them" today. Trying to look mean with 3 different mag wheels on + the spare :)

Like the old Cortina 3.0s mag wheels. The ones with the "tiger firepower" tyres :)

indeed Jandre the e30 did come standard with 14's but the profle was right. I used to race our shadowline with 14's that were a little deflated. Had very good runs out of them in those days!

Those tiger firepowers... sheesh, what were they thinking? Had a bud who bought a golf in his student day that had those on. Apparently you had better grip in the wet on your roof than with those under the car.
